Cardamom Spiced Chocolate Chip Cookies ♥??
Pretty sure these are life changing. The aromatic cardamom along with cinnamon & vanilla bean just take these cookies to the next level.


Cardamom Spiced Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 2 cups SIFTED flour (I use paleo flour, Otto’s Cassava Flour or a mix of coconut, almond & tapioca flour)
  • 1.5 cup Kerry Gold Butter or Spectrum Fair Trade palm oil shortening
  • 2 pastured eggs, room temp
  • 1 vanilla bean scrapping
  • 1/2 tsp pink Himalayan salt
  • 1 tsp gluten free baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cup sugar of choice, I used brown sugar Truvia blend, I also recommend maple sugar
  • 1 1/2 bag Enjoy Life chocolate chunks


  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Prepare baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl whisk together flour mix, cinnamon, cardamom, baking soda, salt.
  4. Set aside.
  5. In bowl of stand mixer with paddle attachment, cream fat & sugar, then add in eggs one at a time. Lastly, vanilla.
  6. Once well combined…
  7. Add in flour mix little by little.
  8. When fully incorporated add in chocolate.
  9. Set dough in the fridge for an hour.
  10. Use 2oz scoop to shape cookies.
  11. Set 2 in apart.
  12. Bake for 12 minutes.
  13. Let cool before handling.
  14. Dough will bake about 24 cookies.
