Sesame Coconut Shrimp with Broccoli Rabe & Kimchi


Just an amazing, super healthy meal with an array of textures & flavors… Not to mention protein & probiotic!

Prep time: 10min (not including shiitake soak)
Cook time: 10min

1 bunch broccoli rabe
4 cloves garlic
1 cup dehydrated shiitake mushrooms
1 cup wild caught shrimp, peeled
3 tbsp Organic Kimchi

1 tbsp flaked coconut
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp Flavor God Seasoning (Lemon Garlic)

Half a lemon
Salt & pepper
Coconut oil, ghee or bacon fat

An hour before cooking soak shiitake in water. (If you are using fresh shiitake, skip this step).

Julienne your broccoli rabe & smash your garlic with a knife or pestle. Set aside.

Toss shrimp in a bowl with Flavor God, coconut & sesame seeds, salt & pepper. Set aside.

Heat two skillets on your stove. One with bacon fat the other with ghee (or whatever you have). Once hot add broccoli rabe & garlic (salt & pepper) to bacon fat skillet & shrimp & shiitake mix (with all the goodies) to the ghee skillet.

Sauté! Keep stirring/moving both frequently. Shrimp will coil & turn pink when done. Broccoli doesn’t need to cook thoroughly- a sear is enough- you want it to retain its color & crisp. Remove from heat & toss broccoli with kimchi.
Serve in center of plate.

With tongs, remove the shrimp and mushrooms from skillet and arrange around broccoli mix. Then, using a spoon or spatula scrape all the toasty coconut & sesame seeds and sprinkle all over your plate.

Makes 1 large serving, but can totally feed 2 🙂
